Tina Giuffre began her training in ballet and then encountered contemporary dance which inspired her more. She learned Martha Graham technique and still likes floor work, but prefers the Merce Cunningham technique especially\u00a0as a basis for choreography.\u00a0 \u00a0Shannon and Belinda are classically trained dancers but are keen to explore a broader vocabulary. David Girando is equally at home in ballet or contemporary.\u00a0 Carolina Papa trained in ballet and contemporary techniques.\u00a0Tony Chaumier is an innovator and is rapidly gaining a reputation in the doll\u00a0dance world.\u00a0 The company was excited to see some old videos of Dancework from the 1970s and 1980s.
